Rules

1. Contestants must be present at the competition on Saturday, February 8 by 10 a.m. (contest starts at 11 a.m.) The competition will be in The Liberty, 222 E. Main St. Elkin.

2. Fill out this form, submit your recipe, and $5 entry fee by the deadline February 1.

3. The contest must have a minimum of 5 entries.

4. Contestants must bring a large crock pot of soup or chili (at least 5 quarts).

5. The People's Choice award will be determined by votes from spectators.

6. Prizes:

• Grand Prize: $100

• Second Place: $50

• Third Place: $25

7. Spectators pay $10, $5 for ages 11 and under, and can taste the entries and vote for The People’s Choice. Proceeds will benefit The Ark.
