A New Chapter in Elkin
Kyle arrived in Elkin in 2015, drawn by an exciting job opportunity at Prism Medical Products. It didn’t take long for him to fall in love with our town. By the summer of 2016, Kyle had made Elkin his permanent home. His connection to Elkin has only grown stronger over the years, and it’s clear that he’s found his place in our community.
Embracing the Outdoors
One of Kyle's greatest joys is exploring the local trails and embracing all the outdoor opportunities Elkin has to offer. Whether he’s hiking through our scenic trails or simply enjoying the natural beauty around town, Kyle makes the most of the great outdoors, reflecting his deep appreciation for Elkin’s natural environment.
Welcoming Community Spirit
Kyle’s transition from Illinois to Elkin has been marked by a warm and welcoming community. Despite coming from a different state, Kyle has felt embraced by our residents and has experienced firsthand the inclusive spirit that makes Elkin such a special place to live.
A Culinary Enthusiast
Kyle is also a fan of Elkin's diverse dining scene. From southern comfort food to fine dining, he enjoys the wide range of culinary options available in our town. This variety is a testament to the richness of Elkin’s food culture, even in a small town setting.

Kyle’s commitment to Elkin extends beyond just enjoying what the town has to offer. He has been an active volunteer for NC Trail Days for several years, looking forward to supporting the event each year. He also relishes attending Food Truck Fridays, a favorite event in their household.

Kyle has observed remarkable changes in Elkin over the years. From a time when “for sale” signs were common in downtown windows to the thriving social district we see today, he has seen the community come together to restore the Reeves Theater and support new businesses. Kyle’s journey has been intertwined with Elkin’s growth, and he is proud of how far the town has come.
Special Memories
Fruition holds a special place in Kyle’s heart as the venue of his first official date with his now-wife. It’s also where they took their engagement pictures, making it a cherished spot in their love story and a symbol of their connection to Elkin.

Kyle sums up his feelings about Elkin with one word: "Home." He believes that the true essence of Elkin lies in its dedicated people—business owners, local vendors, and the community at large—all working together to make Elkin a vibrant and welcoming place. The free live music, block parties, and the bustling social district all contribute to the town’s lively atmosphere and sense of care for its residents.
